I am sure that you are aware that all of your interactions with other people make up your personal branding. Every activity you do reflecting on your brand – If you calling somebody or meeting with someone or sending an email. Your personal brand is influenced directly, offline and online, in your first interaction with another person. This first impression is very important to your personal brand, so you will want to get it right.

When I share my thoughts on personal branding as part of the 3R Results triangle™ (Relationship-Reputation-Resources), I am always asked: Do I need a personal brand? My simple answer is – you already have one. So the question isn’t really how to start a personal brand but more how to discover, define and deliver it. You need to stay consistent with the personal brand you want to project and improve it. You should learn how to control your brand and reflect your uniqueness. You want to ‘swim out’ from the sea of sameness.

Your personal brand is a very effective tool to network and build relationship with like- minded people. It helps for other people to remember who you are and what you do.

You, as a business owner or professional should really dedicate time and efforts, on a daily basis, to discover, define and deliver your personal brand. It is known that personal branding increasing in importance, and if you will not do something about your personal brand, your competitors will. In the end, it’s all about what you are known for. Every time your name is mentioned or seen, others should be able to mention what is your uniqueness and added value.
